Barry Feldman was born in New York City and studied Art
History at Swarthmore College. In 1971 he moved to Middle
River, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, where he was awarded a
Canada Council National Arts Grant for Painting. In 1989
he began to live and work in Thessaloniki, Greece.
