Nowadays, Autism Spectrum Disorder is very common, as 1 out of 36 children in USA are in ASD, and there is no reason to hide what is part of you. Next time you are in our library, do not hesitate to ask a librarian what services or assistance we can offer you.

Study Rooms 

Use our Group Study Rooms, where you can study or listen to an audiobook without worrying you might get interrupted.  

Quiet Zone 

Our library offers a quiet zone which is located on our top floor. The room is soundproof, removing any unnecessary distractions. 

Change environment

Choose a location in the Library where you would feel most comfortable and where it's better for you to read, study or relax. The library is the perfect place to encourage you to study!

Social Zone

Our library offers a space on the ground floor, where you can relax, socialize with peers, drink your coffee, read a book from our well-being collection.

What is Asperger Syndrome

  Asperger Syndrome 


or Asperger's is a previously used diagnosis on the autism spectrum. It was one of the five forms of autism. In 2013, Asperger Syndrome was folded into the broader autism spectrum disorder (ASD) diagnosis.

Signs & Symptomps

An adult with ASD may face the some challenges on: 

  • Social communication and interaction skills:
    • Eye contact 
    • Social interaction and communication skills
    • Understanding what others are thinking or feeling
  • Communication:
    • Making eye contact
    • Understanding other’s body language, gestures and facial expressions
    • Regulating tone of voice
  • Developing, maintaining and understanding relationships
    • Expressing feelings and seeking emotional comfort from others
    • Making friends and playing with peers
    • Understanding boundaries and personal space
    • Feeling overwhelmed in social situations
