The Eleftheriades Library in celebrating Academic Integrity with the meaningful quote from the International Day of Action for Academic Integrity 2025 (ICAI):

“We want to demonstrate that integrity is part of everyday life, not just academic study. It is part of being a responsible member of society and important for all jobs. Everyone is capable of showing integrity. Demonstrating integrity can lead us to good decisions for our whole lives, so we can see it as a superpower.”

On this occasion, the Library has updated with more relevant and useful content our guides:

  • Academic Integrity Guide: What’s new: concise guidance and instructions on how to avoid plagiarism, examples of good practices and a new section for ethical use of AI.
  • Citation Guide MLA: What’s new: more student friendly presentation of the basic principles and advice on referencing, enriched with more examples.

You are all invited to join us in the Library and help us spread the word of the value of Academic Integrity. Check the posters in the Library, talk to us and draw inspiration to add a positive message on the dedicated board.

“Be a content creator, not a content imitator”

Also remember to participate in the Academic Integrity Poster Contest. Be inspiring to the school community and design a poster highlighting the core values of Academic Integrity to raise awareness on the importance of ethical use of information.

And before you leave, don't forget to pick up a bookmark, as a small reminder to keep honesty, respect, and responsibility in everything you do.

Academic integrity is more than a school rule - it is a mindset, a life skill, and your own eveyday superpower.
