Books for Christmas

by Nikos Finos on 2019-12-18T11:00:00+02:00 in Eleftheriades Library, Non Fiction, Fiction, Reading promotion | Comments

Christmas Holidays are usually associated with books. We find them usually under the Christmas tree or in our luggage. Books can keep us a good company during these days of relaxation.

We are delighted to present a list of recommended titles. Books included in this list stood out in 2019. Most of them are best sellers or won numerous awards. The list is, in a way, a review of the year that is coming to an end, with winners of major literary awards and losses of distinguished authors.

Drop by the library, have a look at the suggested books, see if anything else draws your attention from the new books or ask a librarian to help you. We will be happy to help you find the right book for you. Choose the one that best fits your interests and check it out. You could also set a reading goal for the next year. Let that book be the first you read in 2020.

From all of us in the Library, a merry Christmas and a joyful New Year.
